For a long time, I thought anxiety meant I was weak.
I thought it was a flaw.
I thought there was something wrong with me.
And one of the hardest parts back then was how alone I felt.
There weren’t social media groups openly talking about anxiety the way there are now. At least I wasn’t part of them. From where I stood, it looked like everyone else had their life together. They seemed happy. Calm. Confident. Like nothing ever rattled them.
Meanwhile, I was white-knuckling my way through conversations, constantly looking for an exit. I’d excuse myself to the bathroom, rush back to my desk, or hide out in the locker room at the gym. Anything to make sure no one saw that I was struggling on the inside.
At the time, I genuinely believed I was the only one feeling that uncomfortable, overwhelming sensation.
Then things changed.
As I started digging into what was actually happening to me, I realized something that shifted everything.
I wasn’t alone.
There were a lot of people wired just like me. People who felt anxiety deeply, yet were still building careers, businesses, families, and lives they were proud of. Some of them were having real success, and that caught my attention.
That’s when a bigger realization hit.
There were two very different paths when it came to anxiety.
One group of people spent their time complaining about it. They focused on how unfair it felt, how broken they believed they were, and how anxiety had ruined everything. They let it define them and quietly dictate their decisions.
The other group took a different approach.
They didn’t deny anxiety or pretend it didn’t exist. But they refused to let it control their lives. They learned how to face it, understand it, and move forward anyway.
I knew immediately which group I belonged to.
This is exactly why I use the term Anxiety Warrior in my coaching.
An Anxiety Warrior isn’t someone who never feels anxious.
It’s someone who refuses to let anxiety control their decisions.
An Anxiety Warrior is willing to face discomfort, learn new responses, and keep moving forward even when anxiety shows up.
That’s how I see myself.
And that’s who I choose to work with.
To be very clear, I’m not the coach for someone who wants to stay stuck, complain, or wait for anxiety to magically disappear. That’s not judgment. That’s clarity.
I work with people who are ready to take control of their anxiety, build momentum, and stop letting fear call the shots in their life.
If this resonates, the next step isn’t more reading or more overthinking.
It’s a Strategy Session.
In that session, we identify what’s actually keeping you stuck, clarify what you want instead, and I explain how my coaching process works. There’s no fixing and no pressure. Just clarity.
