Getting More Done Never Feels Enough

I used to think if I just got more done, I’d finally feel caught up.

I use Trello, a digital task board where I organize and check off everything I need to do each day. Every problem goes on that board. Every idea. Every improvement. Every “this will move the business forward.”

And here’s the truth.

The board is never done.

I can check off ten things and immediately add five more. I can clear emails, rewrite copy, review stats, plan content, and still feel behind.

That “not enough” feeling doesn’t disappear just because I was productive.

Even on a Sunday afternoon at the beach with Jacquelyn, watching the waves glisten, there’s a voice that says, “You could be working right now.”

That’s when I realized something important.

This wasn’t a productivity problem.

It was an identity problem.

If I believe I’m behind, I’ll feel behind after a 12-hour day.
If I believe I’m not enough yet, no number of checked boxes will fix that.

And I know I’m not alone in this.

A lot of high-performers think their anxiety is about workload.

But often it’s about worth.

We tie our value to output.
We tie our peace to progress.
We tell ourselves we’ll relax “when we get there.”

But if “there” keeps moving, peace never arrives.

You can be driven and still detach your identity from how much you accomplish today.

You can build aggressively and still refuse to let your self-worth rise and fall with your task list.

If this resonates with you, start by retraining the internal dialogue that fuels that “not enough” pressure.

The Anxiety Warrior Blueprint walks you through practical tools you can use immediately to respond differently and take back control.

That’s the foundation.

But if you’re tired of tying your worth to your output and you’re ready to change that pattern now, apply for a Strategy Session.

The Blueprint builds awareness.

The Strategy Session accelerates change.

You can chase big goals.

Just don’t let your identity depend on today’s checklist.
